Chapter 688: Alex’s Strategic Retreat

While Dim Dim was giving love advice, Alex found himself in a tricky situation.

Evangeline’s switch seemed to have been flipped, while Lotte’s interest in watching their blood-drinking session live seemed to have peaked.

A vampire girl on his right, and a fox girl on his left.

If the guys in the academy were to see this, they would probably turn green out of envy and jealousy.

Yet, as the one actually experiencing it, Alex couldn’t help but feel somewhat anxious. The reason was simple. Right now, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Evangeline’s pupils had turned into hearts.

Whenever she was like this, things didn’t usually end well. Not for Alex. This kind of look had long become an indicator that he would be sucked dry. Though, not only of blood, but other fluids as well.

It would have been fine IF Lotte wasn’t there.

Unfortunately, she was. So, the gears on Alex’s head were turning fast to come up with ways to overturn the situation.

"E-Eva, please calm down a bit," Alex said. But deep inside, he was saying it not only to his lover, but to himself as well. "Lotte is here. Did you forget?"

"How could I forget she’s here?" Evangeline was already loosening Alex’s necktie. "She’s free to join us. Lotte is my sister, so sharing you with her is normal, is it not?"

Lotte, who seemed to be infected by Evangeline’s bloodthirst, subconsciously gulped. She watched as Eva lovingly pressed her soft lips onto Alex’s neck, giving it a kiss.

A moment later, she sank her fangs into it, drawing blood. Evangeline then started to feed as Lotte watched every moment of it.

The Alter was curious by nature, so seeing this for the first time made her feel a little excited.

Just as Alex had expected, Evangeline’s switch was totally flipped. Usually, she would automatically stop drinking after two minutes, but it had already gone past that time.

Thinking she might be getting carried away, Alex lightly tapped her back, which was their signal to stop.

Fortunately, this signal was ingrained in Evangeline’s being. And so, the moment Alex gave her the signal, she reluctantly pulled back, looking at him in a daze.

A trickle of blood still flowed from the two bite marks on Alex’s neck. Usually, Evangeline would lick them clean and use her vampiric ability to heal it.

But instead of doing that, she turned her gaze to Lotte.

"Go on. Don’t you want to taste Alex’s blood?" Evangeline said. "I heard foxkins also drink the blood of their partners as a lover’s ritual, right?"

Lotte nodded and moved closer to Alex’s neck. She then gave the blood trail a lick before her eyes glowed faintly with a golden light.

Soon, she started licking and kissing Alex’s neck, making sure that not a drop of blood would be left behind.

The fox lady seemed to have fallen into a trance.

The taste of Alex’s blood in her lips made her feel a closeness that she didn’t think was possible.

Of course, what Evangeline said earlier wasn’t necessarily false. There were many courtship rituals among foxkins, with play biting being one of them.

Alex felt ticklish as Lotte tenderly licked and kissed his neck. With her healing specialty, she could have easily closed the wound.

Suddenly, Alex felt something else loosening. Namely, his pants.

Evangeline, who had just finished sucking Alex’s blood, planned on drinking something else.

But just as she was about to pull her lover’s pants down, she sensed a presence inside the room, making her stop in her tracks.

She gazed up to look on top of the bookshelves, only to see Lulu looking down at them with a mischievous smile on her face.

"Go on." Lulu waved casually. "Don’t mind me. I’m just here to watch."

The mature version of Latifa looked at Alex, whose clothes were in a disheveled state.

The buttons on his shirt were loose.

The button on his pants was loose.

And there were two beautiful ladies who seemed ready to eat him up.

Lulu felt bored, so she decided to look for Alex. Though, in order to find him right away, she used a special Search Ability that locked on to his location.

The moment she arrived at the Old Library, she used a stealth skill to observe Evangeline and her fellow Alter double-team Alex.

She wanted to join in on the fun, but she held back out of curiosity.

Now that a third party had appeared, Alex was finally able to wrest control away from the two ladies.

"Lotte, please heal my neck," Alex said softly, lightly patting Lotte’s head.

The young lady nodded as if she was in a trance and used healing magic on Alex’s neck.

When that was done, the young man hurriedly buttoned his pants while Evangeline was still distracted by Lulu’s appearance.

He then stood up carefully so that he wouldn’t push away his lovers forcefully. Now that he was finally freed, he hastily buttoned his school uniform.

"Let me fix that for you," Lulu said before teleporting in front of Alex.

She then smirked as she tied his necktie properly, making sure that it wasn’t too tight.

"Thank you, Lulu," Alex said. "You saved me."

Lulu giggled in response before planting a kiss on Alex’s cheek. The kiss lasted for only two seconds at most before she pulled back.

"Go," Lulu said. "I’ll handle the rest here."

"No." Alex shook his head before helping Evangeline stand up.

He then gave his lover a hug and lightly patted her head.

"I love you, Eva," Alex said. "Let’s continue the rest next week, okay?"

"Yes," Evangeline replied, nodding her head obediently.

She looked calmer now. But deep inside, she felt embarrassed about losing control of herself. Alex was simply too dashing right now, so she couldn’t hold back her desire of sharing more intimacy with him.

Lotte had also broken out from her daze, her face beet-red from shame.

However, there was something else in her eyes.

A spark that was never there before.

Just like what he did to Evangeline, Alex also hugged Lotte and patted her back.

"I love you too, Lotte," Alex said. "But let’s take it slow, okay?"

"Un..." Lotte nodded and hugged Alex’s back.

In the past, she didn’t know why Latifa and Lumi liked cuddling with Alex so much.

Now, she understood what they felt and asked Alex to pamper her too in the future.

"I’d love that," Alex said while hugging Lotte tightly.

Suddenly, he heard a light cough from behind him.

In response, Alex turned around and saw Lulu with her arms spread wide, as if telling Alex to jump into her arms so that she could embrace him.

But, instead of doing that, Alex did the opposite.

He ran away.

Without looking back!

Lulu blinked once, then twice, while looking in the direction where Alex went. Seeing this scene, Evangeline and Lotte giggled at the same time.

They thought that Alex would love to be with Lulu, but his reaction made this scene very funny.

Of course, Alex wanted to cuddle with Lulu very much. However, he wasn’t confident that he would be able to hold back after holding the mature version of Latifa, whose seductive body was pushing all of his buttons.

Because of this, he decided to do a tactical retreat. If he stayed, then he might have fallen into her trap.

A trap where he wouldn’t be able to get away from the three ladies, who would definitely devour him until nothing was left.
